Love Birds

For a little Valentine’s Day tribute, these love birds hide their heads under each other’s wings.  If they kiss, they aren’t telling.  I wanted something more original than hearts for this wrapping paper and a pair of cooing love birds made my pen blush.  I spent some time deciding on an accent color to avoid the usual white-pink theme of Valentine’s Day.  A cheerful blue livens up the background and compliments the foreground.  But, in the end, I think no matter how you look at the pink birds, you see hearts.  Well, after all, there’s nothing wrong with hearts!
